The newest addition to my little commune rolled in today on a flatbed. It had been sitting for at least two years and has a very green patina over the green paint. It is a 1971 with the 455. Wondering if anyone knew of resources to date the production number of this little jewel. It’s all intact, with the usual rust along the bottom, not currently running, but in surprisingly good shape. It will be guest quarters for awhile. I look forward to seeing the posts here. Also, how do I post pics on this site. Thanks. 🙂

Hey David, sounds like you found a project. Good luck with that.

I have just taken possession of a 1967 cortez and was wondering how rare are these things?

Good on you Ryan. There were not many made I think about 1,700 of the Clarks and fewer than that of the Kents. Many have succumbed to rust and age so there are fewer of them all the time. Saw where one got crushed by a pine tree not to long ago. Their value hasn’t gone up like you would think it would but are to those that own them they are near priceless. Check on Facebook and there are some clubs on there.

Hi David and Ryan! Congrats on your purchases and Welcome to the club. This page should answer both of your questions: http://cortezcoach.com/manuals-etc/cortez-serial-numbers/
