    Hi all,
I have a 73 Cortez that has a CV axle going out. Does anyone here know about what brand or part number it is? The parts reference list seems to be missing anything about it. Thanks in advance. Dave

    Greetings David,
The CV’s were specially made just for the Cortez Kents by a company called Con-Vel. Regrettably, Con-Vel got rid of all of its tooling and spare parts and was acquired by another company in Michigan. However, CV’s rarely go bad. What are yours doing that makes you think they are going bad? Which side? Does it make a clicking nose when turning? Anyway, I have several used ones that are serviceable and I may be willing to sell you one. PM me at jbressi [at symbol] c-o-x dot net. You may also be able to have it rebuilt by a CV rebuilder. However, one I contacted in Florida, CV of Ocala, said that they couldn’t get parts so they wouldn’t rebuild it. Jess
