Hey Moose I was browsing through the letter library a few months ago and found an article of someone’s Clark trip to Alaska. Think it was around letter 50, but it doesn’t go that high now. Will this be coming back at some point?
Hi Steve! Yes, all the docs will be back on-line as soon as I find some time to get back to uploading the files. I still have all the Cortez National newsletters to upload as well.
Understood. I’m hoping to upgrade the brake system to a dual master cylinder and replace the lines. I live on a steep hill and I’m nervous every time I need to take the Cortez down it. If the brakes go I’d either end up flipped on the freeway or in someone’s house :-/.
Joe, there definitely isn’t any advice in the old docs for doing that. I ended up creating a hybrid system, similar to how the clutch works. The original single master cylinder feeds a slave cylinder which operates a new electric high power dual master cylinder from ABS brakes (www.abspowerbrake.com). ABS fabricated all the brackets for me. This also allowed me to eliminate the Hydrovac (which I might use as a booster for the clutch).
